The Story Behind MOB

Throughout American history, Black Americans have faced setbacks, hardships, and barriers because of the color of their skin. As a Black man building something of my own, I understand that success doesn’t happen overnight—and I’m not expecting it to.

What I can promise is hard work, passion, creativity, and attention to detail in everything I create. The website you see before you was designed by me from the ground up.

With more than 20 years of experience as a Master Barber, a degree in Graphic Design, and previous success selling through Amazon Merch on Demand, I’m bringing all of my skills together to build MOB—Man of Business—into a household name.

My goal is bigger than making sales. I want MOB to become a source of inspiration for anyone willing to take a chance on themselves, build their own path, and become the entrepreneur they were meant to be.

Losing both of my parents to COVID-19

After losing both of my parents to COVID-19, my life changed in ways I never expected. I fell into a deep depression and stepped away from the successful life I had worked so hard to build.

Before the lockdowns and the loss of my parents, I was a self-made boss and business owner, operating a high-end barbershop/salon while also owning and operating a taxi business. Then, everything seemed to happen at once.

Instead of allowing those challenges to define my future, I decided to reinvent myself. I taught myself new skills in graphic design and website development and spent the next five years studying, learning, practicing, and perfecting my craft.

When I finally felt ready to make my comeback, I knew I wanted to build something of my own—something that represented my journey, my creativity, my independence, and my vision for the future.

That’s when MOB | Man of Business was born.
